Church renovations 2008
All the pictures you see in the gallery, is work carried out by
RS Brickwork, and as we are very proud of are finished work
we have no problems showing it close up, giving a honest look at the end result

cottage restoration at Loggerheads October 2009
the cottage was cement rendered on all sides and the rendering
had failed traping mositure behind it, after taking of the render we
found original stonework to the left of the cottage in very good condition
and the brickwork was in a condition which could be repaired, after fine
gritblasting the property on all sides , we commence to rake out and repoint
and finaly sealing all walls with a stoneplus 20

the stone gable was in very poor condition, as was the chimney

brickwork grit blasted , after removing cement render, raked out with
grinder cleaned down awaiting repointing and sealer, top section

problems with internal damp areas after having cavity wall
insulation installed, we repointed and weathersealed brickwork
repointing is weather struck, and neatly cut off this method is more suited
to a modern type property, preperation is the key to a good
repointing job, the raking out of the old mortar
must be to a suitable depth and then cleaned down
repointing to victorian semi at Sandbach Cheshire, before repointing
section of brickwork on right repointed with black mortar
brickwork joints in some areas are only 2mm wide
this type of repointing is very difficult and if not carried out by
experienced operatives can result in a devaluation of the property
